Missing My Dumb District
Hey Everyone! This week has been quite the adventure. I learn more and more every day about being a missionary and I fall more in love with the work. Don’t know how that’s possible but here we are. In case y’all aren’t caught up with the program, I’m flying to Oklahoma today! It will be quite the adventure. Which means I’ve said bye to my district, who have literally been my family for the past three weeks. I bawled like a baby. We’ve all become best friends, and have learned and grown together so much! I miss them so much already- as my companion is sleeping on the floor since we’re so exhausted haha. The “dumb” started with an Elder, it was kind of an interesting day for all of us, but he lost his pen and kept saying how he couldn’t find his “dumb” pen that ended up being within arms reach of him… so now dumb is used in literally every sentence for all of us. Dumb family, dumb district, dumb cafeteria food (that’s been the deal for a while now tho). It’s our way of showing...
