Hey Sister Hay!!

Hey y’all!

Wow, what a week full of laughs, miracles, goodbyes, and hellos!!

Highlights:

☆Had Sister Sody’s last p-day! We went to a German restaurant called “Das Boot Camp.” They serve beer in boot mugs, and I was kind of bummed when they told me that I couldn’t drink Dr. Pepper out of a boot since I’m not 21. But hey, the Schnitzel and Spaetzle made up for it.

☆The Yosts made an obituary for Sister Sody, she really made an impact here in Norman.

☆Had the best lesson with Eric, I’m so excited for everything in store for him.

☆Said bye to Sister Sody… But a happy hello to SISTER ALLEN!! And we got our new missionary, SISTER HAY!! She is just too cute.

☆Listened to a song that a guy named Robert sent Sister Allen on Facebook… “love like Jesus” I think we should upload it to Itunes.

☆SAW PATTY!!! We met her in the park a couple of months ago, but she got sick. We felt inspired to visit her. She let us in, gave us a tour of her antique filled home, and read 3 Nephi 11 with us. WE HAVE A NEW FRIEND!!

☆had an old man say he wasn’t interested in joining our church, but he said he would love us to come over for the company and for us to massage his back. I think it’s safe to say that we will be focusing on bringing OTHERS to Christ<3

☆Got kicked out of our apartment clubhouse and had to have dinner at a member's home… with a completely different family. Good laugh. We sure do love the Jensens for always helping us out.

☆Sister Allen hit the curb for the 4th time in our companionship, even after I warned her.

☆Went to Swig twice in a week…

☆Had a Dr. Pepper and a Kit Kat for Uncle Monte with my comps. Sure did feel him working with me that day, he’s working just as hard as I am!!

☆Sister Dummer is having a boy!!!

During Transfers, Sister Allen and I got to learn more about being trainers. Not gonna lie, during part of it I felt a little overwhelmed. What did God see in me to trust me with one of the most important callings on the mission? I started to worry about if I was going to be good enough, and if I had what it took to perform such an important task.

President Hugues was addressing everyone before he announced who was training who, and he said, “Elders and Sisters, the missionaries sitting in the back (trainers) are the most obedient, hard working, and loving missionaries in this mission. I have spent HOURS with the Lord when assigning trainers. I do not take this lightly.” He paused, looked right at me, and said, “So feel qualified. Because I picked YOU specifically to fulfill this sacred responsibility .”

UMMM, WOAH. That was the most spiritual smack to the face I’ve ever gotten.

I was thinking about this a lot this week. God has sent all of us SPECIFICALLY to a country, a state, a city, home, family, with different situations and experiences. If you feel like you have no purpose, or you don’t know if you can do what God wants you to do, FEEL QUALIFIED!! Because God chose you to be right where you are. You are more than perfectly positioned to do His will. Don’t take my word for it, go read 1 Nephi 3:7, it’s a goodie.

Anywho, have an awesome blossom week! Say your prayers, read your scriptures, and find something to laugh about today. I always love a good laugh, so feel free to tell me something funny that happened.

God loves y’all and so do I!!

Sister Jenni<3
