Hey everyone!! Super short email because I have a TONNN going on! Sometimes P-day is more stressful than restful…



Highlights!

☆had a lesson at a homeless park, don’t ask how it happened because I don’t even know…

☆Sister Hay Graduated! I am so proud of the missionary she is, honestly training her was such a joy. (She honestly trained me, I learned so much from her.)

☆Had lunch with our recent convert Dallas, she is honestly just the best. 

☆Our tire was going flat, so we went to go fill it up, but none of the places had a working machine. At one of the places this dude was trying to help us, but he ended up making it even flatter. So I got out and showed em how it’s done

☆We had roleplays with the APs and Interviews with President! He and I had such a good talk, and I feel really good about this next transfer. 

☆Said bye to all of my friends at bingo. I love them so much, I’d honestly rather hang out with them than kids my age now… one of them started to cry when I told her I was leaving so of course I did too. I have lots of emails now!

☆found a hearing aid in our super old couch while looking for my ring. Super gross, never trust missionary furniture. 



TRANSFER NEWS

Sister Hay will be staying in Norman 24 and training! I am just so proud of her!

Sister Snelgrove will finish her training in Oklahoma City! She’s got big things coming for her.

I’m going to a town called Enid, in the Government Springs Area. Also, I’m going to be a Sister Training Leader! (an stl is a young missionary leader, they lead the sisters in the Zone, do exchanges, work with the stake) I’M SO EXCITED!

Hey y’all!     This has been quite. the. week.      Highlights: -got to see Sister Demmerly at mission tour! -Got to spend some time with Ann at Bingo -Had a ward Christmas party, all of the primary girls decorated cookies and gave them to me. And they waited for me to eat them…. it’s so good to see that they look up to me, and want me to get obese.  -had a Christmas devotional with the whole mission -Sister Okie drew me the best picture ever of me and Morgan Wallen, and Sister Sody told a story based on the picture. Funniest comp bonding ever:) -Held the CUTEST puppy ever named Lola.     So on Friday, we were in the middle of teaching Toni. The lesson was pretty good, when all of a sudden the biggest BOOM happened. Like the blinds and doors were shaking in the house. And there was the brightest light that flashed. (Now I’ve been in Missouri during huge thunderstorms, I thought I’ve seen and heard it all.) I thought that WW3 was starting. No joke....

Longest Week EVER!!!

Hey y’all!! Oh. My. Goodness. I changed my P-day because I’m going the the temple today. I’m so happy to be going to the Lord’s house with Norma-Jean, but tell ya what I am TIRED!!! But in the best way;) Its been a kind of slow week and a half, the roads are COVERED with ice so we have not been allowed to drive. So that means: 1. doing all of our work over the phone… 2. begging members to give us rides 3. walking everywhere we go  Soooo this week we…. -did over 60 hours of phone work -had ALL of our lessons cancel on us -more than half of our member meals canceled on us -we ran out of food, money, and miles -I made sister sody so jealous because everyones little kids come and give me the biggest hug, then just stare at her…and it always happens to the people who we’ve never met. She says it’s a spiritual gift haha.  -got my fingernails painted by Dallas’ little girl named Haven.  -got our hair cut by sister kern, she’s from Salem and I had NO IDEA!! -watched “why I believ...

Hey y’all! What a week! Hope you all had a happy Halloween! I love being a missionary.  My district and I joke that it’s giving us a sliver of what being a new parent is like.  You go to bed tired, you wake up tired, all day you’re tired. But it’s okay, because you love it!!  -My family made it to Italy! They love it! Must be quite the adventure having no car, no house, and having a loaf of bread cost nearly $10…  -I have spent over 50 hours on the computer between classes, lessons, and zoom meetings with my district and my companion.  -I taught my first lesson! It’s starting to feel so real and I’m loving every minute of it.  -Had the ward trunk or treat… I love halloween so of course I had to dress up… -Had chicken and rice for dinner! I’m telling you, any type of chicken is a food that makes me proud to be an American.  -Probably drank half of my body weight of lemonade and chocolate milk… don’t worry mom. Nama and Bampa are taking good care of me! ...
