Wow.

A wonderful 2 days it has been! But I'll tell y'all about the past week.

Highlights:

☆had an exchange with the STLS of the STLS. Which meant I got to see Sister Allen! I was with Sister Coons, and I learned SO MUCH from/about her. 1. She LOVES biking 2. The better you are at matching other's energy, the more likely they are to listen to you. 3. We as missionaries are so much more involved with the ward/stake efforts than we think. 4. Rely on the Spirit to personalize the gospel to their needs.

☆ate fried gator! It's actually pretty good! Would recommend it.

☆gave my first Zone Conference training as an STL! It was pretty humbling, I've realized that God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.

☆helped Sister Lee buy some boots! Before we went into the store she stopped me and said, "don't let them rip me off." Glad she can trust me

☆hid our bikes in a field while we went through a sketchy car wash.

☆Learned that Henry, Enrique, and Hank all mean the same thing. Sister Coons and I went to do some visits, and we were deciding what to do, and I heard some people speaking Spanish. (Later I learned that Sister Coons didn't hear any talking at all so that was the Spirit) I got out Google translate just in case and turned the corner, there was a Hispanic lady sitting all by herself. She didn't speak English, but her son Enrique did! He was so excited to learn about the Gospel! We talked for a good hour and he wants to get baptized! Wahoo! Sister Coons and I sure did follow the Spirit, we were at the right place at the right time.

☆took cute pictures in a field of Sister Lee and in return she helped me rid my socks and shoes of all of the thorns and stickers that I got while taking those pictures.

☆had a restful district p day and the Marshallese speaking Elders showed us their wholesome dance

☆slept over at the Hermanas place because we had a creepy experience with out apartment.

Spirit Thought:

I just wanted to say how much Christ knows us, and He knows what we need:)

Read Alma 7:11-13. Typical missionary one, but a true gem.

Love y’all! Have a wonderful week!
