Magnified Efforts♡
What a week. (I say that like every time…) but really this week was nuts. Let's get into it.
☆Our new friend Cory referred himself to us (he saw an add on his Bible app) and we met with him 3 times! He is sooo excited to learn more and he is on date to be baptized on April 20th! And he's in 4th ward too! Soooo exciting!! Please pray that he will get Sundays off, and that he can make it into the Waters of baptism safely!! Everyone loves him so far, and at the end of the lesson our stake patriarch felt prompted to give him a blessing. That was one of the most powerful blessings that I've heard in my life. I'm so thankful for the members here, they are amazing.
☆on Tuesday we made 4 NEW FRIENDS!! Our goal is 1 a day, and holy cow were our efforts magnified.
☆Zone Conference! I got to see all of my besties, some probably for the last time on the mission… it's crazy that the sisters who came out with me are going home in 3 weeks. I'm so excited to have 5 more months!!
Just a thought from Zone Conference; Sister Hugues shared this awesome quote:
A single Clydesdale horse can pull up to 8,000 pounds. You might assume that two Clydesdale horses teamed together would pull up to 16,000 lbs but in fact they can move up to 24,000 lbs. This is impressive team work. Together, they not only double, but actually triple the power of a singe horse. But, when two horses who know each other, have trained and labored together, who know and love each other as brothers do, they actually can pull up to 32,000 lbs! Exponentially impressive!! Now, imaging being yoked with the Savior, who truly knows you and loves you unconditionally. "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me… For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light”. Unimaginable power is available to all who seek, all who find, and all who put their trust and faith in Christ. Give Him everything you have and He will magnify and bless those efforts to heights you could only imagine.
Just wow. Nothing else needs to be said. I believe that with my whole heart, especially after our efforts and miracles this week. I'm so thankful to be yoked with my Savior in His work. What an amazing opportunity it is to be a representative of Him.
God loves you and so do I!
