Sleepin'

Hey everyone! Hope you had a good week! Mine was a little tiring so this is gonna be mega short so I can take a nap.

☆we had a referral (Paul) that we had been trying to get a hold of for a little, and just as we were going to stop teaching him, we decided to try one more time to go over to his house. We knocked on the door but Paul didn't answer… but Johnny did! He wanted to be taught so we decided on coming back a few days later. Fast forward, we knocked on the door trying to find Johnny. Johnny didn't answer… but we saw Marcus and started talking to him! Next thing we know, all three are sitting with us, and we are teaching them about the Restoration. They love it! 3 new friends, and they are all friends!!

☆exchanges with Sister Maughn was amazing. I love her! We had soo much fun and so much success. There was a cool lady named Theresa, and while we were talking to her I had the randomest prompting to ask her about life after death. She started to tear up and said that her husband died and she didn't know if she would see him again. We told her about the plan of salvation, and especially sealings in the temple. Long story short, she's now a new friend! Please pray for her!

☆Zone Conference was amazing. We had trainings on resolving concerns, and extending powerful invitations. We each got to look President Hugues in the eye, shake his hand, and promise to be that kind of missionary for the rest of our missions. Of course I cried. I want to be that kind of missionary.

This week was kind of a harder week emotionally and mentally. Every missionary has weeks like these at least once. I started to think to myself, “do I believe this enough to be going through this?” Or “am I really making a difference?” Sometimes it feels like I'm not. But I had a lot of really cool moments this week that felt like Jesus was calming those thoughts, “you know you believe”, “you're making all the difference” and “keep going!” Just when I would feel a little bit off or not doing the best, I'd be given a reason to keep going. Usually, it came through a person. We were teaching Shawn the other day and he had a lot of questions that I was actually asking myself earlier that afternoon. I was able to confidently bare my testimony regarding his questions, and it helped me realize that I really do know this, I really am needed here, and I am really making a difference.

Okay I lied, it wasn't mega short.

I love you all. I know that Christ lives and loves me and all of you. You know more than you think you know. You make a difference in this world, and God is proud of you! Keep going! Do something this week that makes you happy!

God loves you and so do I!
