Armadillo's & Tornadoes

Hey y'all! Hope you've had an awesome week! Here's mine...

☆I saw a live armadillo for the first time! Literally no one sees them since they’re nocturnal, and one was caught in a trap at the Stanfield’s house! Bucket List item=completed!

☆More tornadoes! We ended up staying at the Stanfield’s house overnight because storms were expected in the middle of the night. We were okay, but big prayers for the Bartlesville area and other areas too.

☆Cleveland County’s National Day of Prayer was on May 2, it was so cool to have leaders in our community gather to pray for specific needs of the county. Brother Balkman (a judge here in Norman) invited us to attend. We talked to a lot of people, and even got some phone numbers!

☆I played the Didgeridoo at the Stanfield’s, they lived in Australia for several years and brought back a lot of fun memories and trinkets! I’m a lot better than when I tried last year, so I’m calling it a win!

☆for those of you who know… I got myplan… oh boy. It’s getting real.

On Monday night, I had a dream about a guy that I met last time I was here. Super long story short, he was pogressing well, then ghosted us. But in my dream, I had the strongest impression to go see him. The problem was, I forgot his name and his address, so literally no way to find him…

Fast forward to yesterday, we were on our way to a lesson. I saw Utah Avenue, and the Spirit told me to turn there even though it was the “wrong way” so I did, and then the Spirit literally led us to his house. And his dad was out in the yard. We looked at the records to get his name, Jesse. It was Jesse’s dad (David) in the front, and he has been struggling quite a bit. But Jesse had moved and gotten married, and is working to be a preacher! I got to tell him what I enjoyed about teaching Jesse, and that I was proud of him. David, his sister, and his mom are interested in learning about the gospel! I’m so excited for them!

From this experience I’ve been reminded that the Lord ALWAYS has a way to do His way. We just need to trust Him, and be willing to do what is asked of us.

1 Nephi 3:7 And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.

Everyone have the best week ever! God loves you and so do I!!
