Perfect Harmony
Howdy, yall!
Holy cow. What a beginning of the transfer.
☆my new companion is Sister Caporale! We are 2 peas in a pod. Imagine a mix of Sister Allen and Sister Rasmussen, and you've got it. I call her Sister Capdawg, and she calls me Sister Jendawg. Love her. In 5 days we've driven around 15 hours together, lots of good and funny talks.
☆Texas is such a blessed state. We have SO MANY PEOPLE in our teaching pool (not even joking, 34 people) I love the people so so much already.
☆we had MLC with Elder Schmutz of the 70, it was so special to be with a General Authority. He is so tender and loving to everyone, what a blessing it was to spend an afternoon with him.
I'm running out of time here but I know that God is so aware of the big details, and the little details. I've had a couple of cool experiences that have helped me to remember. Elder Schmutz talked about when his son served a mission, he called and said that he felt like he was in “perfect harmony” with God. To be in perfect harmony doesn’t mean to be perfect. It means to be constantly trying to align your will to God’s unchanging will. Sister Hugues said that our quest as a missionary is to grow in love for our Savior. In John 21, Christ asks, “Lovest thou me?” not, “Do you know everything about being a missionary?” or “are you perfect yet?” All we need to do is grow in love for Jesus, and the rest will come along when it comes to being in perfect harmony. That’s all:)
Have a good week! God loves you and so do I!
