What It's All About♡

Hi y’all!
This week has been such a good one. Time is speeding up and running out. Which means it’s time to sprint! Good thing I’ve got lots of liquid IV since it’s the hottest week of the summer down here…

☆Dana got baptized! It was so surreal and joyful to see Dana make covenants with the Lord. There were some hiccups, but hey! She’s a member of the Lord’s kingdom here on Earth!!
☆The Grant family is doing sooo good. We talked about the introduction of the Book of Mormon, and I felt inspired to ask Jeremy (the dad) what his next step would be if he came to know that the Book of Mormon was true. He said, “I don’t mean to jump the gun or nothin’ but we should all be baptized into the Lord’s church.” OKAY. WHAT. He told us that they aren’t there yet, but not to give up on them because they are working on it! Cute Bowen (he’s 9) said, “I want to be ‘bath-tized’ with my family”. I absolutely adore them, they mean the world to me.
☆I had my departing interview with President Hugues, I know that I have been called to him and Sister Hugues, and he told me how he has come to know that he’s been called to me. He also told me some really good advice for life after the mission. I love the Hugues’ so much!!

Departing testimonies have started… I’m anxiously waiting for my turn. I’ve been pondering a lot about what I have to say. How on earth do you squish 18 (and for me much longer) months into about 5 minutes? But a thought has been popping into my head, over and over again.
“This is what it’s all about.”
What is it all about?
It’s about seeing someone’s very countenance change when they invite the Light of Christ into their life.
It’s about showing a little girl for the first time a picture of Jesus and telling her who He is to her. A picture that she later puts by her bed and changes her whole life.
It’s about spending our birthday money to buy orange juice and help a friend we love so much overcome his addictions.
It’s about learning from your mistakes, and overcoming obstacles that would be impossible without the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ.
It’s about kneeling in a little closet, pleading with a quiet voice yet loud words that are only between yourself and God.
It’s about the hardships, the joy, the broken hearts, the One who can heal hearts back together. It’s about the One lifted on the cross, for the purpose of lifting us up.
It’s about God’s work and glory, “To bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.”
It’s all about Him, because of Him.

Think of what it’s all about for you this week. I bare testimony of my Savior. He lives. He loves. He lifts. And He is all about the one.

God loves you and so do I!
