Only The Beginning♡
Hey y'all!
I've been released for a few days, but I just wanted to send one last email!
Even though this is the end of Sister Jenni's ministry in the OOCM (for now) this is only the beginning of my work in the Lord's kingdom. I'm so excited to see what the Lord has in store for me!
Quite the week I've had...
☆I said so so many bittersweet goodbyes, I'm so lucky that I have people that I love in the world.
☆Went to the temple one last time as a missionary with President and Sister Hugues and the rest of the departing missionaries, followed by some good old andy's.
☆Cried. A Lot. Like, ugly cried.
☆Had an early morning flight to Denver, then one to Kansas City.
☆hugged my familia (missed you Sister Jenni the younger)
☆And started a new chapter....
One last miracle? I think yes.
I've always wanted to be a sprint to the end type of missionary. I prayed super hard that I would have one last missionary moment on the plane. On my flight from Denver to Kansas City, I found myself sitting a couple rows behind a lady who was crying. About halfway through the flight, the Spirit let me know that this was an opportunity given to me. After quickly writing my testimony in a Book of Mormon, I went and sat by her. She had lost everything. Her home in a house fire, and so many things. She was starting over in Kansas City because she got a job offer.
I was able to share Alma 7:11-13 with her. It brought her peace. She kept saying that she knew that we were supposed to meet. I gave her the Book of Mormon, got her number, and invited her to my homecoming talk. She accepted! I also said we should go to lunch sometime, and she accepted as well. We've been in constant communication since then over text. She couldn't come to homecoming, but I'll still work on it. Pray for Sharde! Please!
My heart is so full of joy and love for the mighty OOCM. I can't begin to say what it's meant to me. I've learned so much, loved so strong, and worked so hard. My heart breaks to think that this chapter of my life is officially over.
But again, it's only the beginning...
Okay before I cry, my final invitation. Run to the Savior. As fast as you can. And don't look back. His arm is forever reached out for you.
He loves you dearly.
Let me know how I can serve y'all! Thank you everyone for the immense support and love. It made all the difference in my service and in my life!
God loves you and so do I!
Until we meet again,
