today I took the tag off for a short time. for a few months now, my physical health has been declining due to a condition that I’ve had for years. after too many doctors appointments, talks with my mission president, and prayer I've decided that it's best for my health to take a pause on my missionary service. i'll be having surgery to hopefully fix the problem, and be back out as soon as the Lord will let me! i'll call in an "intermission" haha get it? this is for sure the hardest decision I've ever had to make. but I have done A LOT of contemplating, and this is what i've come to. What a week in the work of the Lord. Scroll to the end for some news… ☆Friday night, I had fluids coming out of my ears, so we went to urgent care on Saturday morning. Not even 24 hours without being in a Doctor's office. Nice! I have an ear infection in both ears, but I'm so thankful that I was able to be seen quickly so that I could go back to work!  ☆Sister Rassy and I wanted to make cinnamon-sugar apples, and it went really well until I forgot about them and next thing you know we had to open the windows and take the burning fruit outside. There were still some good pieces, tho! Turned out to be apple "crisps"…  ☆On Sunday, it was 104⁰. We had only hot water in the car, and an extra hot chocolate pack (I carry one for emergencies like these) so I made some hot chocolate! Haha I had to wait for it to cool a little. It was so hot.  ☆one of the Hermanas I minister to has grandparents living in Ocean City, New Jersey, just a couple of blocks away from MY grandparents ...

 Hey y’all! What a week for the books. Please pray for John and Andy! Their baptisms are coming up!  Cool parts of my week: ☆oh my Wayne is so cool. He sent in a referral, and we met with him on Saturday. He has been going through a rough time, and wants to get back on track with his life again. We put him on baptismal date for September 9! He was so excited, he got a little teary and so did we, right in the middle of taco bell. ☆we had zone conference, and basically trained on everything taught in MLC. It was my first training I gave where I wasn't super nervous, so that was cool. ☆got jump scared at a bagel place by the worker giving me my bagel. She apologized, then 30 seconds later I heard, "I totally scared that Lady…." So I guess I'm that lady now… ☆saw the cutest little towns during our lunch hour. Okay this week was wild and rad, the mission is just the bestest thing ever. It's been pretty warm here, but because of all of the rain, not too bad. I think it only went above 100⁰ twice, which is really good here.  ☆Sister Rassy got stung by a wasp:( she was running her fingers through her hair and the wasp was caught in her hair. And worst thing, it was in the car and wouldn't leave! After some phone calls, Sister Redd came and drove us to the pharmacy, and she beat it with a fly swatter even after it was already dead, all is good in the sista hood. ☆we had 2 exchanges! I love being an STL, it is the best thing ever to minister to the ministers. The first was pretty good, but the second was the bestest because I got to go with SISTER ALLEN!!!! I adore her. We took so many pictures, listened to music on a jukebox at a member dinner, stood on dirt mounds, and laughed our heads off. ☆we made 4 new friends! Okay! This week was WILD, but I can't remember half of it so here we go.  ☆for p day last week, our district went to Vance Airforce base to see the T-6s and then to fly them! Virtually. turns out my serious pilot face isn't serious at all. ☆had literally the worst/most dramatic day out on my mission. (I won't tell the public here, but if you want to know, email me haha)  ☆had MLC!! Oh I love the mlc it's just the bestest. We had an awesome council that is going to make our mission SKYROCKET!!! I JUST KNOW IT!!!! But the best part, our mission president's wife surprised the mlc with PAPER COPIES OF THE NEW PREACH MY GOSPEL!! BEST DAY EVER!! (the rest of the mission's will come in the next couple of weeks) ☆oh my goodness. So we were on our way to teach andy, and he called us saying "hey, hopefully you're okay with this, but I invited my friend to church, and also to the lesson, he wants to learn more. Sorry I didn't ask first, is that okay?" UHH...
