CPR And Taco Salad

Image
Hey hey! I’ll be so honest with you, I’m so drained today so this will be short haha.  ♡Transfers! It’s just me and Sister Herbst now, we are excited for the cool miracles coming up this transfer! ♡Had lunch with Andrea at Ted’s… still thinking of that taco salad ♡we have a French speaking friend named Fourida, and we don’t really know how much she understands when we teach her. But we were at a member dinner and the husband said that he served his mission in France. We had no idea! Soo he will now be joining us for many lessons haha. We were also able to find Fourida a French Book of Mormon super duper fast! The Lord will provide when you’re doing His work!!! ♡There was a dog that standing up was about 4 inches taller than me, and it shed a ton and my pants literally turned white. Love dogs but Boo dog hair. Just a cute little thought for you today from the one and only Jessica Lee, my comp when I served in Enid. She gave me a pretty cool thought that if you truly know who Christ ...

Howdy hey y'all. I won't lie, I don't remember a ton from this week, it was a whirlwind.  ☆I'm getting over one of my biggest fears…🐍. One of our new members has a boa named Ghost, he's 4 ft long and I HELD HIM!!! That's a huge milestone for me right there, Amelia you'll be so proud;) ☆We went out to eat with the Stanfields, one of the funniest families in Norman. I've loved catching up with the members here. ☆it's finally getting warm here! Nice and in the 70s-80s!! I love missionary work, but even more when you can talk to people all day outside!!  ☆had a galentines day with the hermanas and the stls! It was so good to see Sister Hay! ☆the Dummers had us over for a Valentines day dinner, we made chocolate covered strawberries and ate yummy food. Love them! ☆ had dinner with the one and only brother gorshe. What a guy. T-DOC I'm staying in Norman with Sister Herbst! Sister Macbeth is leaving to another area a couple hours away from here.  I...

OKAY! Buckle up because this is by far one of the most unhinged weeks of my mission. Also happy Valentine's day! Usually I hate doing “day by day” but I think I'm gonna do that since I'm still trying to process things.  Thursday- such a fun exchange with Sister Knight, and I ran into a wall on my bike and got a mega bruise on my thigh.  Friday- p day, we went to the temple, and President called me and asked if I would be willing to go BACK TO NORMAN 24 for and emergency transfer. Of course I said yes. I'm going from one trainee to another! I'll be finishing Sister Herbst's training!!! Saturday- went to Norman and figured out why I got ETed… it’s a little crazy, but I know that God is aware of me, and that He is in the little details. Best epic fail: Sister Knight laughed so hard during our exchange that she had to use her inhaler. I LOVE to laugh, even if events of the day literally took Sister Knight’s breath away… Honorable mentions: ♡reunited with some of my ...

Full To The Brim With joy!

Happy Friday! My P-day changed to today for this week because we are taking Judd to the temple! I'm so excited to spend some time in the house of the Lord, if you haven't been in the past week you should definitely go because it's the best place ever!  Also sorry in advance this is gonna be long.  ☆Taylor got baptized! She's technically in another ward, but she met us at Stake conference and invited us to her baptism! We brought Israel so that he could see what a baptism looks like, the Spirit was so strong. Taylor is the sweetest person ever! Another funny part, this family came up to me and asked if I knew Sister Snelgrove. I told them I was one of her trainers, and turns out the dad is her uncle. Their son met Taylor on a cruise (and 100% has the hots for her) and gave her a Book of Mormon. You never know how a conversation and simple act can impact someone's life! ☆We biked 54 miles this week. I actually love biking, so it wasn't bad at all. Just some extra ...
