What It's All About♡

Hi y’all!  This week has been such a good one. Time is speeding up and running out. Which means it’s time to sprint! Good thing I’ve got lots of liquid IV since it’s the hottest week of the summer down here… ☆Dana got baptized! It was so surreal and joyful to see Dana make covenants with the Lord. There were some hiccups, but hey! She’s a member of the Lord’s kingdom here on Earth!! ☆The Grant family is doing sooo good. We talked about the introduction of the Book of Mormon, and I felt inspired to ask Jeremy (the dad) what his next step would be if he came to know that the Book of Mormon was true. He said, “I don’t mean to jump the gun or nothin’ but we should all be baptized into the Lord’s church.” OKAY. WHAT. He told us that they aren’t there yet, but not to give up on them because they are working on it! Cute Bowen (he’s 9) said, “I want to be ‘bath-tized’ with my family”. I absolutely adore them, they mean the world to me.  ☆I had my departing interview with President Hug...

Happy Faith Farmers

Howdy Hey! This week was so good! Let me tell ya about it! ☆We got to celebrate Sister Caporale’s big 20! woot woot! Texas Roadhouse in Texas is a good way to go on a July Saturday night… ☆Please continue to pray for Dana! We are going full steam ahead to her baptism on Saturday at noon. We are so excited!!! ☆Can’t remember if I’ve mentioned this yet, but 2 week in a row we’ve gone to the Wichita Mountains. It’s been so fun to spend time with other missionaries! Medicine park, Mt. Scott, and super fun things in between! (Riverside cafe and the drink place across the street are the best places to go. Get the okie burger) ☆Owen G. made us the cutest little crosses that says "Jesus loves you" my heart!! This week I want to share a little bit about a training that my mission president gave on Tuesday. His trainings are always bomb, so how could I not share? As children of God, we all have such a divine potential. We have the availability to receive all kinds of gifts and blessin...

Hey y’all! This week went by wayyy too fast! ☆My highlight of the week was Jean’s sealing to her husband! I am so so thankful for the opportunity I had to teach her, be there for her baptism, endowment, and now her sealing! Getting to see her be sealed to her husband for time and all eternity made me so thankful for Christ’s perfect and personal gospel.  ☆We got to go to the temple AGAIN with one of our districts, it was awesome. Love love love the temple, as always. ☆Our exchange with the Sisters went great! We had so many miracles. We were biking by a younger lady, and we asked if we could talk to her, and she said no. As we were biking down the road, she yelled at us to come back. After talking to her, we asked her why she told us to come back. She said that she felt like God was trying to get her attention through us. We made her a friend!  Epic fail: We were biking, and my front fender somehow got mixed up with my tire... it was so bizarre. But thankfully we had a member ...

The Gift Of Charity♡

Hey hey! Hope y'all have had a wonderful week! Mine's been amazing! ☆ THE 4TH OF JULY!!! oh it was so so fun. We had MLC in Edmond, and we all had a pancake breakfast together! I loved the special spirit that was there. It was a little sad to have my last MLC, but I've enjoyed every one, and learned so much. It took up pretty much the whole day since we drove for 6 hours total haha.  ☆ We made so many friends, and met so many cool people! It was so cool to hear others stories, and to help them get just a little bit closer to Christ.  ☆With the crazy heat, we've been trying to find some unique ways to find people to teach since people aren't outside a ton. Walking around the lake in the mornings and the Farmer's Market have been a Huge success! It's been so fun to find normal and natural ways to gather Israel!  ☆ My last Zone Conference…I cried like a baby during every training, including during the one that I gave. I think I've been unofficially nominate...

His Grace Is Sufficient

Howdy y'all!  I'm sooo excited to be spending the 4th of July in the great state of Texas. Celebrations have already started! Anyone have any fun plans?  This week has been such a good one! ☆ For the first time in our mission's history, we hit 51 baptisms in a month!!! I'm not at all a “numbers missionary”, but that is a big step because there were 51 souls who made sacred covenants with God. During the course of my mission, I've seen the work and the change in the missionaries to get us to where we are today. Last week, President Hugues invited us to pray for the people on date for baptism in every prayer that we said. So for the entire week, we prayed specifically for those 8 individuals that obstacles would be removed, and that God would help us make what needs to happen come to a reality.  ☆ Brother Perez had his retirement party, they really went all out. Hundreds of people, Samoan dancing, and tonsss of food. It was quite the experience.  We've been talkin...
